On Sunday 23 June we celebrate Corpus Christi, which is the feast of the Presence of Jesus in the Sacrament of the Altar.
At the 11am High Mass we’ll welcome Fr Geoff Dumbreck, Assistant Chaplain of Peterhouse in the University of Cambridge, to preach the glories of the Blessed Sacrament. Mass is followed by a Procession of the Host through the streets of the parish to St Julian’s, where Benediction will be given. Drinks and lunch follow in the garden.
We'll gratefully welcome rose petals and herbs for the Corpus Christi Procession. Please bring what you can in the week running up to the festival, and leave in the Spencer Room fridge.
Come and join us: we'd love to welcome you to celebrate this beautiful feast with us.
