Christmas Services 2018

Sunday December 23rd

This is the Fourth Sunday of Advent so the the 9am Mass at St Julian’s and the 11.00am Parish Mass at St John’s will be Masses of Advent.

The popular Carols by Candelight Service, which will take place at St Julian's Church at 5.00pm on Sunday 23rd, will begin our Christmas Festivities. This is a traditional Service of lessons and carols in a candle-lit, holy space and it is a perfect beginning to the Feast of Our Lord’s Nativity so do bring family and friends.

Monday December 24th - Christmas Eve

The first Mass of Christmas, Midnight Mass, with the blessing of the crib, will be at St John’s at 11.00pm on Monday December 24th.

Tuesday December 25th - Christmas Day

On Christmas Day there is no Service at St John’s and the church is closed. The Mass of Christmas morning is beautiful and quite simple and takes place at 10.00am at St Julian’s Church.
